Srinagar 15 Nov : Three drug peddlers including a “most-wanted” female were arrested in two separate incidents in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, said the police on Wednesday morning.
As per the news agency CNS, police said that the two male drug peddlers and one female drug peddler were arrested in the Tangmarg and Baramulla police stations’ jurisdictions, respectively after a recovery of contraband substances, 60 grams of Brown Sugar and 65 grams of Charas, from them.
The accused have been identified as Bashir Magray, Javid Ganie and Afroza Begum alias Afree Shah Shahid Bilal alias Shahid Afridi, they said.
After the arrest, police have registered FIR numbers 238/2023 and 113/2023 under sections 8/21 and 8/20-29 of the NDPS Act against the drug peddlers at Police Station Baramulla and Police Station Tangmarg respectively, with further investigation taken up.
On 8th November, police had arrested a notorious female drug peddler, Farhat Begum alias Fancy at Trikanjan, Baramulla in possession of Heroin, weighing 60 grams.
